Pfeiffer Beach, located within Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, is one of the area's best, where visitors can take advantage of easy handicapped access, increased parking, and new restrooms.  
 
MacAbee Beach is located on Cannery Row and visitors will see Kayakers, scuba divers, and children playing along the shore. Asilomar State Park and Beach in Pacific Grove offers great tide pools, sheltered coves, and opportunities for swimming, surfing , and kite flying.
California Monterey's Point Lighthouse

Monterey's Point Piños Lighthouse -

The Point Piños Lighthouse is located on the northern most tip of the Monterey Peninsula. The stone lighthouse was built 1855 on the point of land that marks the entrance to Monterey Bay. The building, lenses and prisms of the light are all original and the lighthouse is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the west coast.
